Solicitation No.: AIT-2005-130
The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a qualified contractor to
proved services for "Erosion Control Project for NOB Nei-hu Site". The
estimated cost of the project is around NT$800,000 - NT$3,200,000. The
interested bidders should meet the following qualifications.
- Be able to understand written and spoken English;
- With a registered capital of NT$5 million or above;
- Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone
listing;
- Be able to demonstrate prior experience with suitable references;
- Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources
available to perform the work;
- Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
- Meet all local insurance requirements;
- Have the ability to obtain a performance/payment bond, or to post
adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or
guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;
- At least 10 years experience in relative field;
- Have no adverse criminal record

obtain solicitation package. A site visit is scheduled at 10:00 am, Friday,
July 22, 2005 at 100, Jin-Hu Road, Nei-hu District, Taipei.
