The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a qualified vendor to upgrade its Kaohsiung branch office security standard

The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a qualified vendor to upgrade its Kaohsiung branch office security standard. The estimated cost of each project is around NT$3,300,000 – NT$8,250,000. The interested bidders should meet the following qualifications.

  1. Be able to understand written and spoken English;
  2. With a registered capital of NT$10 million or above;
  3. Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
  4. Be able to demonstrate prior experience with suitable references;
  5. Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
  6. Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
  7. Meet all local insurance requirements;
  8. Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;
  9. At least 10 years experience in relative field;
  10. Have no adverse criminal record
  11. Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States.
