The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide renovation services in one of its residential units on Yangmingshan. The scope of work will be provided in Solicitation Package. Estimated cost of the project is between NT$750,000 ~ NT$3,000,000. All interested bidders should meet the following qualifications.

1. Be able to understand, written and spoken English;
2. With a registered capital of NT$5 million or above;
3. Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
4. Be able to demonstrate prior construction experience with suitable references;
5. Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
6. Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
7. Meet all local insurance requirements;
8. Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;
9. Have no adverse criminal record; and
10. Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States.
