The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide renovation services in its residential unit (C-479) at Yangmingshan. The scope of work will be provided in Solicitation Package. Estimated cost of the project is between NT$750,000 ~ NT$3,000,000. All interested bidders should meet the following qualifications.

1. Be able to understand, written and spoken English;
2. With a registered capital of NT$5 million or above;
3. Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
4. Be able to demonstrate prior construction experience with suitable references;
5. Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
6. Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
7. Meet all local insurance requirements;
8. Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;
9. Have no adverse criminal record; and
10. Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States.
