Other Exchange Opportunities for International Scholars and Professionals

  • Brookings Institution Visiting Fellowship at the Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies (CNAPS).  Applications are being accepted the Visiting Fellows program, a four-month residential research fellowship at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, for the Spring 2011 session (scheduled for March 1 to June 30, 2011).  The program will include one Fellow each from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam.  CNAPS will give preference to applications that include research proposals focused "challenges of cross-border crime." The Brookings Institution's CNAPS Visiting Fellows program is a competitive residential fellowship that offers mid-career scholars and professionals from East Asia the opportunity to carry out substantive research and interact with a wide range of actors in the Washington policy community. Spring 2011 session: March 1-June 30, 2011.  Application Details and Deadline: September 1, 2010.
  • Andrew W. Mellon Post-doctoral Fellowship in Sustainable Urban Food Systems for the 2010-2011 academic year at the Eugene Lang College, the New School.  The fellow will work with faculty in environmental studies, food studies, and external colleagues to design and implement a research project in sustainable urban food systems that matches his/her interests and expertise.  Contact environmentalstudies@newschool.edu for details.
