Notarial Services

All services requiring a personal appearance in Taipei and Kaohsiung are by appointment only. Appointments must be made online. Please follow the links below.

Notarial services performed at AIT are primarily for documents used in the U.S.

Notarization:

To have your signature notarized on a document you must appear in person and present valid photo identification that matches the name on the document. (For example, we cannot notarize the signature "Jane Chen" if Ms. Chen can only present identification with the name "Chen Mei-Li".) If you plan to sign the document in English you must provide identification that includes your English name.

The U.S. requires a notarized statement of consent from any parent not appearing in person to apply for a passport on behalf of a minor under the age of sixteen. We do not charge a fee for this service.

If you wish to have your signature witnessed, you must provide your own witnesses. AIT employees are unable to act as witnesses.
