The 2012 U.S.A. Pavilion of the Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE), organized by the American Institute in Taiwan, will feature more than 2,000 U.S.-origin titles and highlight American technology in the areas of digital content development, on-line publishing platform, and book rights promotion. TIBE will be held from February 1-6, 2012 at Taipei World Trade Center.

The book fair will be the Taiwan debut of PubMatch, the leading comprehensive worldwide publishing rights network services and platform.  PubMatch’s global rights network facilitates the needs of the publishers, agents and authors in Taiwan.   American Collective Stand, representing 46 U.S. publishers, will introduce their 242 titles available for future publishing in Taiwan.  Scholastic, the world’s largest publisher of children’s books, will showcase thousands of children’s titles, educational books and web-based products.  Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will also promote hundreds of K-12 educational books at the show.  Flysheet will represent 13 American digital content providers, featuring web-based 2D and stereographic 3D interactive science educational content, web-based learning content, eJournals, eLibraries, archives and other digital databases.

AIT is pleased to invite four special guests from the United States to speak at various seminars during TIBE 2012.  Scholastic, Teacher Created Materials, Creative Teaching Press and Benchmark Education will hold discounted book promotions on February 4 and 5 at the U.S.A. Pavilion.
