The U.S.A. Pavilion in the 2013 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) will showcase thousands of books including novels, children’s books, magazines, educational materials, and e-books. The U.S.A Pavilion will also feature a variety of electronic databases and a display of creative pop-up books.
The U.S.A. Pavilion will feature the published and digital offerings of many world renown American publishing firms to include the following: Scholastic, the world’s largest publisher of children’s books, will display a range of story books, picture books, and novels; Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will exhibit newly released elementary and middle school education materials; Publisher Weekly, a global news magazine that targets both book publishers and readers, will introduce its weekly publications; Pubmatch, the leading platform for publishing and book rights which made their debut at TIBE 2013, will demonstrate its platform to Taiwan publishing companies; American Collective Stand will represent U.S. publishers to introduce over 100 original titles; Samhain Publishing will display a series of romance novels; The American Psychology Association will exhibit a diverse selection of educational research; and Flysheet will represent numerous American digital database providers featuring an assortment of professional and academic databases in 2D and 3D.
