Amanda Mansour Assumes Duties as AIT’s Spokesperson (July 5, 2018)

Amanda Mansour assumed duties as the Spokesperson for the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) on July 5, 2018.

Ms. Mansour joined the Foreign Service in 2007. Most recently, she worked at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, serving on the Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Staff, at the Foreign Press Center, and as a Special Assistant in the Bureau of Public Affairs. Before that she served at the U.S. Consulate in Adana, Turkey and at the U.S. Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic.

Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Ms. Mansour worked in the U.S. Senate. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and Turkish.

Ms. Mansour is a native of Poughkeepsie, New York. She and her husband have one child.
