The CRBA and passport fees are non-refundable processing fees and are retained by the Department of State whether or not the CRBA and the passport are issued.

- Cash in NTD or USD – if applying for a service in person
- We strongly advise you to bring cash, as our system does not always accommodate credit card transactions
- We cannot accept personal checks
Schedule of Fees
At AIT Taipei and Kaohsiung, fees may be paid in either US or NT dollars or by credit card.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and Discover.
We do not accept personal checks or travelers checks.
The passport fees may be paid by credit card, cash in U.S. dollars, or the NTD equivalent. AIT strongly advises you to pay with a credit card and bring cash as a back-up should any issues arise with the credit card transaction.
Please pay with current U.S. Dollars to meet the requirements of local financial institutions. We no longer accept the old version of U.S. dollar bills.(PDF 22MB)
