Effective August 30, 2021, AIT no longer accepts walk-in renewals of 10-year adult passports. You must renew your passport by mail.

Passport services are not available on weekends or on Taiwan or U.S. holidays.
Applicants Age 15 or Under Without Both Parents Present
The DS-3053 is the Statement of Consent for Issuing a Passport to a Child and the DS-5525 is the Statement of Special Family Circumstances.
Adult Passport Renewal (DS-82)
Renew an existing passport issued to you when you were aged 16 or older.
Report and Replace Lost/Stolen Passport (DS-64 & DS-11)
Report a passport lost or stolen and replace it.
Minor Passports – 5-Year Passport
The child and both parents must appear in person through a pre-arranged appointment.
First 10-year Passport: 16 Years Old and Above
You must appear in person to apply for your passport through an appointment.
If you need to update your passport due to a name change, you will need to apply for a new U.S. passport.
To apply for or renew your U.S. passport, you must confirm the status of your Social Security Number (SSN) with the Social Security Administration (SSA) before submitting your passport application.
You must provide one photo on a white background with your passport application. Our photo policies apply to adults and children. We have a few exceptions to our photo policies for infants.
