U.S. Congressional Delegation Concludes Visit to Taiwan
Representative Ken Calvert (R-CA), Representative Tom Cole (R-OK), Representative Steve Womack (R-AR), Representative Dave Joyce (R-OH), Representative Edward Case (D-HI), and Representative Mike Garcia (R-CA) visited Taiwan from March 15-16, 2023 as part of a larger visit to the Indo-Pacific region. While in Taiwan, the delegation met with President Tsai Ing-wen, National Security Council Secretary-General Wellington Koo, and Foreign Minister Joseph Wu. In all of these meetings, the delegation had an opportunity to exchange views with Taiwan counterparts on a wide range of issues of importance to both the United States and Taiwan.
