Nonimmigrant visas (NIV): Every visa applicant must pay a non-refundable, non-transferable visa application processing fee before applying for a visa, unless the application fee is not required. Depending on the visa category you are applying or the document delivery option you are selecting, additional visa fees or delivery fees may be required.
Immigrant Visas (IV): Most IV cases are processed through National Visa Center (NVC) and the processing fee will have been collected during the NVC process. The AIT cashier will collect the visa processing fee only in those cases with petitions filed at AIT or if not previously paid.
Most visa applications at AIT are processed by appointment only, except for certain applicants qualified for Drop-Off Service (Interview Waiver). We request that you be on time for your appointment and adhere to our security regulations during your visit at AIT.
