World Coffee Championships Coming to Taipei, Features World-Class U.S. Products
One of the most prestigious coffee competitions in the world, the World Coffee Championships, is coming to the Taiwan International Coffee Show from November 17 to 20. Taking place on the first and fourth floors of Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall Two, the Championships include the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC), World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS), and World Coffee Roasting Championship (WCRC). A total of 90 preliminary winners from all over the globe are coming together to compete for the title of World Champion.
Home to one of the highest densities of coffee shops in the world, Taiwan is a natural host for this competition. The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is thrilled to see such a wide range of high-quality U.S. products featured as part of the festivities, including milk from California, Commerce Gin from Arizona Distilling, Organic Vodka from Humboldt Distillery, and Hibiscus Coconut Rum from Whistling Andy. In addition to enjoying the creations of the competitors, visitors can also visit the Brew Bar next to the stage and try some specialty coffee, including world-famous Hawaii Kona and Ka’u.
